2018 Strides Parade of Homes in Second Life

Welcome and thank you for your interest in the 2018 Strides Parade of Homes in Second Life.

Strides Parade of Homes in Second Life Shopping Guide

Builds could be any size from fitting on 1024 up to a mansion, and could also include skyboxes.

For the build/home itself, we asked for limited edition builds available only during the month of October, placed in a Strides vendor with 100% going to Strides. Other versions of the build/home could be sold with a building change, such as removing some of it’s over the top features, modified where the home is not as big, or build is altered after October to be sold by the builder.

Interior Designers/Creators & Landscaping Designers/Creators were asked to create at least one “package deal” per Designer/Creator for the build/home they decorate to be sold in Strides vendor as an exclusive package deal available only during the month of October. Other items you use in the home can be for sale in your own personal vendors or 50/50 Strides Vendors.

During the month of October, we have open voting on “Best in Show” awards.  This is where each home will be listed by it’s given advertised name and visitors to the Parade of Homes can vote on their favorites in several categories.  Awards will be given to the top three winners in each category. Categories being

  • Best in Show – Overall
  • Best in Show – Build
  • Best in Show – Interior Design
  • Best in Show – Landscaping.

Cast your votes here.

Winners will be announced on November 1, 2018.
